What is viral?
Viral on Facebook and Twitter with these photos people are writing: 158 Indian soldiers have been killed by a rocket attack by China. It is also being written that the Indian media is hiding this news.



Fact check investigation
In the present circumstances, it is almost impossible to use any kind of weapon between the army of India and China. India and China have had two treaties in 1993 and 1996. Under which both armies cannot use weapons. Detailed information in this regard is given on the website of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. The United Nations website has also given information about this agreement of the two countries. It is clear from this that the news of rockets released by China into India’s border is not only false. Rather, any such event is almost impossible to happen at this time.

Now come to the picture, on the basis of which this news is being spread. A reverse image search on Google shows that the rumor is not new. Many times on the basis of this picture, social media as well as news websites have falsely claimed to have killed Indian soldiers.
Three years ago, the website Nation Clip published false news about the death of 158 Indian soldiers.


– It is not clear in the image search when the picture is taken. However, it is clear that it is at least three years old. Which currently has nothing to do with the ongoing tension between India and China.
